AppDigest is a java based integrity checker for (web-)applications.
AppDigest gives you the possibility to check your deployed (web-)application for
unwanted modifications made by someone from the customer´s technical stuff or
by an unexperienced user.
With AppDigest the days where raged users contact you and make you
the scapegoat for some strange errors they´re encountering in your application,
just because someone else messed with your project files, are gone.
Simply include the library in your application and create an encrypted file
containing hashcodes of all your application files. Now you can compare the
application´s current state with the saved state when everything worked.
Check for created/modified/deleted files or folders just by calling a servlet
running on the target system (-> No shell access needed!).
